Bonnie Schneider is meteorologist appearing on the various platforms of CNN and HLN. On March 30, 2012, she will be the expert on TV, executive and co-producer of a DIY NETWORK special, titled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Bonnie's first published book is EXTREME WATER by Palgrave Macmillan. It was published on January 31, 2012 by Palgrave Macmillan. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. As a Boston-based special assignments reporter, she was reported on each week for three hours covering entertainment, lifestyle as well as news. Prior to joining WB56, she was employed as the forecaster on weekends for WFOR-TV Miami. She worked in several reports and meteorology roles in News 12 Long Island - a 24-hour news cable network - and WXII-TV - the NBC affiliate station in Winston-Salem. As a regular fill-in on The Saturday Early Show, she worked as meteorologist at CBS within New York City.
